Medical misinformation is plentiful within Spanish-language health-focused Telegram groups. We focused on the theory that drinking (or otherwise consuming) seawater can cure all sorts of ailments, a fiction with obvious harmful implications.

Many of the accounts on Bluesky discussing cryptocurrency appear to be linked to fraudulent activities. Bluesky’s open architecture has made it especially susceptible to fake crypto accounts abusing platform features.

Meanwhile, ProPublic published a massive piece investigating “Terrorgram,” a white supremacist Telegram network that has inspired multiple real-world attacks.
